Connect your Google Business Profile.

Getting started takes under 5 minutes. There's nothing technical involved. If you can log into a Google account, you can set up Clout.

  • Connect your Google account: Clout links securely to your Google Business Profile via Google’s official API. Your login credentials are never stored.
  • Confirm your business location: Select the location you want to manage. If you have more than one, you can add them one at a time.
  • Add your customer contacts: Upload a list of existing customers to send your first batch of review requests, or start fresh and add customers as jobs are completed.

Step 2

Your customers get a short, friendly nudge.

Once Clout is set up, review requests go out automatically, by email, SMS, or both, depending on what contact details you have for each customer. The messages are brief and genuine, personalised with the customer's first name, and timed so they arrive when the experience is still fresh.

All review requests sent through Clout are compliant with Google's review policies and New Zealand's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.

Built-in Protection

Unhappy customers talk to you first, not Google.

Before a customer is asked to leave a Google review, they're first invited to rate their experience privately. If everything went well, they're guided straight to Google to share their feedback publicly. But if something wasn't right, they're given a private channel to tell you about it. No Google review prompt is shown.
